A break tank provides a physical separation between the water supply network and the drinking water system for livestock, because water from the water supply system cannot flow back into the water supply network.

The Suevia break tank is installed in the water supply system, for example, for animal drinking water. Water from the mains flows into the tank. The break tank is also equipped with an overflow to prevent water from flowing back into the mains in the event of an emergency.

This Suevia break tank with a 50-liter capacity is equipped with a Pedrollo pump, type Plurijet 3/60. The pump draws water from the storage tank and pumps it into the livestock drinking water system. The break tank is equipped with an AB safety device, which stands for free-flow with a non-circular overflow. The pump is equipped with a Presflo pump control, which switches the pump on and off and maintains pressure in the pipe system.

This Predrollo pump, type Plurijet 3/60, has a capacity of 2.4 m³ at a pressure of 2 bar.
