Recovery unit with counterflow heat exchanger. Compact recovery unit with cross-counterflow heat exchanger, EPP housing with coated metal casing and LCD touchscreen.

The compact KCX+ heat recovery units are plug-and-play units for mechanical air handling (heat recovery, filtration, heating) in shops, apartments, homes, and offices. The unit is designed to supply fresh air and remove pollutants.

Heat recovery takes place on a counterflow plate heat exchanger and is based on the heat exchange between the exhaust and supply air flows.

Control unit

The compact KCX+ unit is equipped with the control and monitoring of the automation system. Through the intuitive touchscreen menu, the application allows you to view all necessary operating parameters, such as temperature, filter quality, fan speed, and heat recovery, and to adjust fan operation to other components, such as a water or electric boiler, water chiller, or DX chiller.

The controls used allow management of other external components in the building. The optional Ethernet module provides full remote control of the recuperator via the control panel.

Specifications

The KCX+ unit is designed for both vertical and horizontal operation. Connections with diameters of ø 125 - ø 250 are located on the top of the unit and are used to connect it to the ventilation system.

The device is suitable for cooperation with external air handling elements: boiler, water cooler, ground heat exchanger.

The air handling unit's casing is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) covered with a powder-coated steel plate. The unit is equipped with a 100% airtight bypass. Thanks to all these solutions, the KCX+ meets all the strict requirements of European certification systems.
