This tapping saddle can be used to create a branch in an existing gas service line at a 90 degree angle.

Properties

The tack saddle consists of a lower saddle, upper saddle and two closing pieces.

Installation

If you do not install an extension piece after installing the tapping saddle, this tapping saddle can be closed with a tapping saddle blanking plug.

A hammer with a wooden or plastic head is recommended for tightening the locking pieces. Otherwise, the locking piece may be damaged or break, resulting in leaks. Lightly tap the locking pieces until they are flush with the lower and upper saddles.
