This Henco coupling is used in drinking water, cooling, compressed air, plumbing, and heating systems. In practice, this coupling is also used to connect a heat pump.

Assembly

To press the coupling, the Henco tool must be used.

Pressing takes just a few steps:

• Use pipe cutters to straighten the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent a noisy pipe.
• Slide the tube into the press fitting until it is visible in the viewing window.
• Place the fitting with pipe in the press jaw and start the pressing process.
• After installing the Henco system, a pressure test must be performed.
