S-Press PLUS point piece 16-R1/2"MT

This Uponor S-Press Plus press fitting is used to connect multilayer pipes and fittings in water and heating systems. The fitting has both a press and a male thread and is also called a threaded end. Thanks to its Kiwa quality mark, this fitting is suitable for drinking water installations.
The robust coupling can be installed in just three steps: cutting, inserting, and pressing. No deburring or calibration required, resulting in a finished connection.

To assemble

S-Press Plus couplings are pressed using crimping pliers. This technique has been used very successfully for many years. The inspection window makes it easy to check whether the pipe's insertion depth is correct. Each diameter is color-coded on the crimping ring. The color coding on the crimping jaws matches that on the coupling. The color-coded film can be easily removed after pressing, so it's clear that the coupling has been pressed correctly.

Properties

This press fitting has a diameter of 16 mm and a ½ inch male thread. The press sleeve is made of stainless steel, and the fitting housing is made of tinned brass. For drinking water, the operating temperature ranges from 0 to 70°C at a maximum continuous operating pressure of 10 bar.
