BONFIX Alu-press repair coupling 20 x 20 mm

This Bonfix Alu-press repair coupling is used when existing piping is damaged and a section needs to be replaced. The repair coupling can be used in both low- and high-temperature water and heating systems.

In addition to this repair coupling, the Bonfix Alu-press range includes various accessories, including:

Properties

The Bonfix aluminum press fittings are color-coded, making it easy to see at a glance which size/color aluminum press fitting can be connected. The repair fitting has a working temperature range of -20°C to +90°C.

Quality mark

This aluminum press fitting has Kiwa and KOMO certification. This makes it suitable for drinking water systems.

Assembly

This repair coupling allows you to replace a section of pipe. Crimping can be performed using the Bonfix crimp tool.

Pressing takes just a few steps:

• Cut the tube to size and deburr the ends.
• Slide the fitting into the pipe until it stops.
• Check that the fitting is properly seated in the press jaw and complete the pressing in one go.
• Thanks to the LBP function, unpressed connections are immediately detected during a press inspection. If the pressing is not performed correctly, water will leak from the coupling.

Other

The aluminum press repair coupling is equipped with two O-rings. These EPDM O-rings are recessed into the brass body and have a silicone/Teflon coating. This keeps the O-rings in place and provides the correct seal.
