BONFIX Solder brass 2-piece coupling 1" female thread x 22 mm

This Bonfix two-piece brass coupling with a flat seal can be used to connect a stopcock to the water supply. This coupling has a 22 mm internal capillary diameter and a 1-inch internal thread.

To ensure a watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the brass solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter . This brass fitting is connected using soft soldering. First, you apply solder to the soldered side, then connect the pipe. The solder is heated at the narrow gap between the brass fitting and the copper pipe, and is drawn in, making the connection watertight.

Quality mark

This brass 2/3 coupling has the Kiwa quality mark and can therefore be used for drinking water installations.
