Properties

The Henco straight multilayer pipe is temperature-resistant, pressure-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Because the pipe is dimensionally stable and wear-resistant, it is reliable and durable. Its oxygen- and water-vapor-tight properties make it suitable for use in heating systems. Moreover, the multilayer pipe is lightweight, making it easier to install.

Material

The multilayer pipe consists of multiple layers, namely PE-Xc/AL/PE-Xc. The inner and outer layers are made of HDPE with an oxygen-tight and dimensionally stable aluminum pipe in the middle. Because the aluminum pipe is butt-welded, its thickness remains consistent, contributing to its flexibility and pressure resistance.

Assembly

To install the multilayer pipe, the Henco tools must be used.

Mounting the multilayer pipe takes just a few steps:

• Use pipe cutters to straighten the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent a noisy pipe.
• Slide the tube into the press fitting until it is visible in the viewing window.
• Place the fitting with pipe in the press jaw and start the pressing process.
• After installing the Henco system, a pressure test must be performed.
