Bonfix brass wall plates can be used to connect a tap to your copper water and/or gas system. Solder the pipe at the bottom, and mount the tap at the front. This wall plate has a 15 mm internal capillary diameter and ¾ inch external thread and comes with a rosette.

Resources

To create a gas-tight or watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the brass solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter . This brass wall plate is connected by soldering. You first apply solder and then connect the pipe. The solder heats up at the narrow gap between the brass wall plate and the copper pipe and is drawn in, making the connection watertight or gas-tight.
Teflon tape is used to connect the faucet to create a gas- or water-tight seal. Wrap this tape around the faucet connection.

Quality mark

This brass wall plate has the Kiwa and Gastec QA quality mark and can therefore be used for gas and drinking water installations.
