Brass threaded fittings can be used to create water and/or gas piping systems. This solder fitting can be used to connect a copper pipe to an accessory, for example. This threaded fitting has a 15 mm internal capillary diameter and a ¾ inch internal thread.

Resources

To create a watertight and/or gas-tight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the brass solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter . This brass fitting is connected using soft soldering. First, you apply solder to the soldered side, then connect the pipe. The solder is heated at the narrow gap between the brass fitting and the copper pipe, and is drawn in, making the connection watertight or gas-tight.

Quality mark

In addition to the Kiwa quality mark, this brass threaded fitting also has the Gastec QA quality mark, making it suitable for both gas and drinking water installations.
