Good for the environment and your wallet
Explorer heat pump water heaters are highly energy-efficient. The heat pump extracts two-thirds of the energy required to heat tap water to 60°C from the ambient air. Electricity is only required to operate the pump. As a result, the Explorer consumes 60 to 70% less electricity than a conventional water heater. Thanks to its Smart Control function, the Explorer adapts to the user's lifestyle and anticipates comfort needs, taking consumption into account.
Connection to PV (solar energy)
Due to the tightening of the net metering scheme, which makes feeding power back into the grid increasingly unattractive, the heat pump boiler is becoming a very attractive system for homes with PV panels. By connecting the PV system to the Explorer heat pump boiler, it becomes possible to store heat for free in the boiler tank. In this application, the heat pump boiler acts as a battery, storing the excess energy generated. The sustainable generation of hot water through the combination of the heat pump and PV system not only saves electricity but also significantly reduces gas consumption.
Adjustable air ducts
The Explorer features adjustable intake and exhaust vents. You can easily adjust the direction of these vents (upward, backward, or sideways).
