BONFIX Solder brass wall plate high 1/2" x 15 mm

This Bonfix wall plate can be used to connect a tap to a copper water and/or gas pipe system. Solder the pipe at the bottom, and mount the tap at the front. The installation height is higher than with the low-profile model.

To create a gas-tight or watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter. This wall plate is connected by soldering. You first apply solder and then connect the pipe. The solder is heated at the narrow gap between the wall plate and the copper pipe and is drawn in, making the connection watertight or gas-tight.
Teflon tape is used to connect the faucet to create a gas- or water-tight seal. Wrap this tape around the faucet connection.
