BONFIX Soldering brass point piece, conical, 3/4" male thread x 22 mm

This Bonfix threaded coupling, also called a point piece, is a transition coupling and can be used to connect a copper pipe to an appendage in the water pipe system and/or gas pipe system.

Resources

To ensure a watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter. This fitting is connected using soft soldering. First, you apply solder to the soldered side, then connect the pipe. The solder is heated at the narrow gap between the fitting and the copper pipe, and is drawn in, making the connection watertight or gas-tight.
