The DAB Circulation Pump (medium cooled) is a robust and high-quality pump solution for installations where fluids up to high temperatures need to be circulated with reliable performance. Suitable for applications with a medium temperature of up to 120 °C , this version offers a perfect combination of power, compactness and reliability – ideal for HVAC systems, industrial processes and hot water circulation.

The pump housing is made entirely of bronze (Rg 5) , which guarantees exceptional corrosion resistance and durability, especially in environments with increased chemical or thermal stress. The pump has a quality class "Bronze (Rg 5)" and is approved according to ACS standards , which makes it suitable for drinking water-related applications in some markets.

The pump has a nominal connection of 1½” (40 mm) on both the inlet and discharge sides , with metric male thread connections according to ISO 228-1 . The external pipe diameters of both the inlet and discharge sides are 40 mm . The pump has a round flange design , a pressure rating of PN 10 , and is designed for a maximum working pressure of 10 bar . The installation length is 190 mm , which makes it suitable for compact installations or replacement projects.

The pump has a maximum head of 7.6 metres , and offers a maximum flow rate of 6.7 m³/h , with a volume flow at best operating point (BEP) of 3.48 m³/h and a pressure at BEP of 5.5 kPa . The pump is equipped with a three-phase motor , operates at a nominal voltage between 230 and 400 V , with a frequency of 50 Hz , and consumes a nominal current of 1.4 A. The motor power input (P1) is 0.2 kW , and the motor runs at a speed of 2925 rpm . The pump falls under insulation class F according to IEC and has an IP55 protection degree , making it highly resistant to dust and splash water.

In terms of control and connectivity, this pump does not feature speed control, communication protocols or smart interfaces . Interfaces such as 0–10 V, 4–20 mA, PT100, PWM, RS-232, RS-485 and other industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, CANopen or KNX are not supported. There are no floating contacts or pulse counters, and the pump does not offer wireless communication (such as WLAN, Bluetooth, 2G/3G/4G or 5G).

The pump is supplied without a pre-assembled power cable (0 m cable length) and uses terminal blocks for electrical connection. Thanks to its compact dimensions, easy connection and durable bronze material, this circulation pump is suitable for demanding applications where reliability and long life are essential.
