This Hep2O elbow 90° can be used in central heating and water pipe systems for cold and hot water to make a connection from plug to spigot end.

Properties

The Hep2O 90° elbow is suitable for central heating pipe systems and can withstand a maximum temperature of 82°C with a maximum pressure of 6 bar. For cold water pipe systems, it can withstand temperatures from 5°C to 25°C with a maximum pressure of 10 bar, and for hot water, the maximum temperature is 60°C with a maximum pressure of 6 bar. A Hep2O system is also demountable.

Material

Because the Hep2O 90° elbow is made of plastic, which conducts heat poorly, heat loss is reduced. This 90° elbow also has high wear resistance. Thanks to the smooth surface of the tube, dirt is virtually impossible to adhere to.

Assembly

A Hep2O fitting is installed using a leak-proof push-fit connection. To connect to a Hep2O pipe, a support sleeve is always required, unless it is a spigot. To connect to a copper pipe, a mounting ring must be used.

Mounting to a Hep2O tube takes just a few steps:
  • Grab the tube from the middle of the roll, this way the tube will not roll back into the shape of the roll.
  • Use pipe cutters to cut the pipe to size.
  • Slide the support sleeve into the pipe and press it firmly. A support sleeve is not necessary for a fitting with a spigot end.
  • Check the insertion length and tighten the fitting onto the pipe.
