A gravel tray is used to drain rainwater from a flat roof. The gravel tray consists of, among other things, a plate and a sleeve. The size of the sleeve depends on the amount of rainwater to be drained, and the length depends on the thickness of the wall or span.

90 degrees

A 90 degree gravel tray is used when the corner of the roof edge is placed perpendicular to the roof surface.

Discharge capacity

As a rule of thumb for the drainage capacity of a rainwater drain, 1 cm² of drain opening area is used for every 1 m² of roof surface. Depending on the required rainwater drainage area, one or more drains/downpipes are used.
