This TECEflex transition piece is suitable for (drinking) water and central heating pipe systems. The coupling is used to connect TECEflex pipes to, for example, a pump or valve. An advantage of TECEflex connection technology is minimal pressure loss because the internal diameter of the coupling and pipe are virtually identical.

Connecting Alupex pipe

TECEflex alupex pipes are permanently connected to the fittings using axial compression technology. Instead of an O-ring, the plastic of the pipe itself serves as a seal. This creates a hygienic connection because no gaps are created where water can remain. To connect the alupex pipe to the fitting, the pipe must first be expanded, after which it can be slid over the fitting. A compression sleeve holds the pipe and fitting securely in place.
