This TECEflex reducing coupling is suitable for (drinking) water, gas, and central heating pipe systems. It's used to transition from Alupex pipes to hard copper pipes.

Properties

The TECEflex reducing coupling is made of brass and has a diameter of 16 mm on the press and 15 mm on the compression side. Because there are no gaps where water can accumulate, this connection is hygienic. There is also virtually no pressure loss because the internal diameter of the fitting and the pipe are virtually identical.

Connect

To connect the Alupex pipe to the coupling on the pressure side, the pipe must first be expanded, after which it can be slid over the fitting. A compression sleeve holds the pipe and fitting securely in place. The hard copper pipe is held in place by a compression fitting.
