TECEflex reducing socket, standard brass, dimensions 32 x 25

This TECEflex reducing coupling, also known as a socket, is suitable for (drinking) water, gas, and central heating pipe systems. It connects Alupex pipes of different diameters. An advantage of TECEflex connection technology is minimal pressure loss because the internal diameter of the coupling and pipe are virtually identical.

Connecting Alupex pipe

TECEflex alupex pipes are permanently connected to the fittings using axial compression technology. Instead of an O-ring, the plastic of the pipe itself serves as a seal. This creates a hygienic connection because no gaps are created where water can remain. To connect the alupex pipe to the fitting, it must first be expanded, after which it can be slid over the fitting. A compression sleeve holds the pipe and fitting securely in place.
