This Bonfix 90° elbow can be used to create a water and/or gas pipe system. A solder fitting can be used to connect a copper pipe to an accessory, for example.

Resources

To ensure a watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter. This screw elbow is connected using soft soldering. You first apply solder and then connect the pipe. The solder is heated at the narrow gap between the screw elbow and the copper pipe, and is drawn in, making the connection watertight.

Quality mark

This screw elbow has the Kiwa quality mark and can therefore be used for drinking water installations.
