BONFIX Compression fitting C-steel 112 T-piece 28 x 28 x 1/2" female thread

This Bonfix compression fitting is a galvanized steel fitting for use in central heating systems. A special compression ring allows for the connection between thick-walled and thin-walled pipes. This special compression ring has been tested by TNO and guarantees a good seal. The operating pressure is 10 bar at 15°C and 6 bar at 90°C.

To assemble

Make sure the pipe is burr-free. This prevents a noisy pipe. Slide the pipe into the coupling and tighten the nut. The inner ring will then pinch and "cut" into the pipe, creating a strong connection. A tight fit is a tight fit. Do not overtighten the nut, as this can cause leakage. The flattened and reinforced keyway ensures optimal grip during installation. Use appropriate tools during installation and avoid damage.
