This Bonfix threaded coupling is used for water pipes, gas pipes, heating systems, or industrial transport systems. With a brass compression fitting, you can easily create a safe and leak-free connection between two pipes without welding, soldering, or pressing. The compression fitting can be reused; however, the compression ring must be replaced.

In addition to this wire coupling, the range includes various couplings, such as:
  • Clamp ring.
  • Knee 90°.
  • Support sleeve.
  • T-piece 90°.
  • Union nut.

Assembly

With a brass compression fitting, you can easily create a strong and reliable connection without any special tools. All you need is a wrench to tighten the fitting, a pipe cutter to cut the pipe to size, and a deburrer to neaten the edges. The compression ring in the fitting ensures a leak-free connection.
  • Installing a compression coupling in a water pipe is done as follows:
  • Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent noisy piping.
  • Slide the tube into the compression fitting up to the stop edge.
  • Tighten the clamp nut hand-tight.
  • Then tighten the compression fitting with a wrench;
  • 12 and 15 mm with 1 complete turn.
  • 22mm with a half to three-quarter turn.
  • 28mm or more with approx. three-quarter turn.
Note: Overtightening the nut can cause leakage. When using soft copper or plastic tubing, we recommend using a support sleeve to prevent pinching.
