BONFIX Solder brass elbow fitting. long 1/2" female thread x 15 mm

Bonfix brass screw elbows can be used for water and/or gas piping systems. A solder fitting can be used to connect a copper pipe to an accessory, for example. The internal capillary diameter is 15 mm and the internal thread is ½ inch. This brass screw elbow has a 90-degree angle.

To ensure a watertight connection to the pipe, you must remove grease and dirt before making the connection. You can use cleaners and degreasers for cleaning.

Assembly

It's important to cut the pipe straight when soldering the brass solder fitting to the pipe. You can do this with a pipe cutter . This brass screw elbow is connected using soft soldering. You first apply solder and then connect the pipe. The solder heats up at the narrow gap between the brass screw elbow and the copper pipe and is drawn in, making the connection watertight.

In addition to the Kiwa quality mark, this brass threaded elbow also has the Gastec QA quality mark, and can therefore be used for both gas and drinking water installations.
