Microflex COOL UNO PN16 125/50 x 4.6 - 10W/m Heating cable

Microflex Cool insulated pipes are insulated and sheathed, and constructed according to the "closed chamber" principle. These pipes are suitable for transporting cold drinking water, wastewater, or cooling water. Because they are well insulated, they are highly resistant to external influences such as stress, microorganisms, temperature fluctuations, etc. The corrosion-free medium-duty pipe, made of PE, has unique chemical resistance, a very long service life (even at high pressures and temperatures), and maximum resistance to age-related cracking.

Properties

This Microflex Uno Cool insulated pipe is suitable for refrigeration systems. It has one carrier tube for transporting water. The maximum temperature depends on the pressure, and vice versa. This Uno Cool has a self-regulating heating cable with a power of 10 W/m that is in contact with the carrier tube. The outer sheath is made of PE-HD and protects the carrier tubes and the insulation material. The ribbed structure of the sheath allows for flexibility along the length. The insulation ensures virtually no heat loss.

Fix point

To absorb the potential effects of thermal expansion or contraction of Microflex media lines, a fixation point is required. Failure to use these fixation points, or failing to anchor them, can result in serious damage to the piping network and connected equipment.

Material

• Corrosion-resistant medium-pressure pipe in PE 100 according to EN 12201. The medium-pressure pipe is in contact with a self-regulating heating cable.
• Thermal, elastic, CFC-free polyethylene foam insulation made from cross-linked PE-X with closed microcell structure.
• Minimum water absorption capacity of <1% according to DIN 53428.
• Corrugated HDPE sheathing pipe manufactured according to the closed chamber principle for high-quality protection of the piping system.
