Microflex DUO PN10 125/1 x 25/3.5 + 1 x 20/2.8 Sanitary

Microflex insulated pipes are equipped with thermal insulation and a sheathing, and constructed according to the "closed chamber" principle. These pipes are suitable for transporting (hot) drinking water, wastewater, or other liquids. Because these pipes are well insulated, they are highly resistant to external influences such as stress, microorganisms, temperature fluctuations, etc. The corrosion-free medium-duty pipe, made of PE, has unique chemical resistance, a very long service life (even at high pressures and temperatures), and maximum resistance to age-related cracking.

Properties

This Microflex Duo insulated pipe is suitable for transporting hot and cold drinking water, as well as wastewater and other liquids. The pipe has two supply pipes, a supply and return pipe for transporting (hot) water. The maximum temperature depends on the pressure, and vice versa. The outer sheath is made of PE-HD and protects the supply pipes and the insulation material, while the corrugated structure of the sheath provides flexibility along the length. The insulation ensures almost no heat loss. The Microflex Duo has an insulating center piece made of PE foam, which ensures effective separation between the supply and return pipes.

This pipe is not suitable for use as a supply line with both hot and cold water due to the risk of legionella.

Fix point

To absorb the potential effects of thermal expansion or contraction of Microflex media lines, a fixation point is required. Failure to use these fixation points, or failing to anchor them, can result in serious damage to the piping network and connected equipment.

Material

• Corrosion-resistant medium pipe in cross-linked PE-Xa according to DIN 16892/16893.
• Thermal, elastic, CFC-free polyethylene foam insulation made from cross-linked PE-X with closed microcell structure.
• Minimum water absorption capacity of <1% according to DIN 53428.
• Corrugated HDPE pipe, manufactured according to the closed chamber principle, for high-quality protection of the piping system.
