Microflex KIT HP Connection set for MQ16040CE

This Microflex HP connection set is used for connecting an underground Microflex pipe.

This complete connection set contains the following:

• 4 PE-X couplings.
• 4 fixing points.
• 1 dust cover for an internal connection.
• 1 epdm end cap for an outside connection.
• Manual

PE-X coupling

The PE-X straight brass transition coupling is used to connect a Microflex pipe to a heating and cooling water pipe system for a monoblock heat pump. The transition coupling has a maximum operating temperature of 95°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar.

No special tools are required to install the coupling. Follow the installation instructions in the included manual.

Fixing point

The bronze fixing point is used to absorb the potential effects of thermal expansion or contraction of the Microflex pipe. Failure to use these fixing points, or failing to anchor them, can result in serious damage to the pipe network and connected equipment.

Dust cover

This Microflex dust cap is used to seal off the Microflex piping on the indoor unit. The dust cap slides over the piping until it reaches the insulation. This dust cap is not designed to hold back water.

End cap

This Microflex EPDM end cap is mandatory when connecting outdoors. This prevents water ingress between the sheathing and the insulated ground pipe. The EPDM end cap is pressure-resistant up to 0.3 bar. To install the end cap, follow the instructions in the included manual.
