Properties

This transition coupling is corrosion resistant, equipped with a leak detection system and a bumper ring to prevent electrolysis.

Assembly

To press the transition coupling, the Henco tool must be used.

Pressing takes just a few steps:

• Use pipe cutters to straighten the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent a noisy pipe.
• Slide the tube into the press fitting until it is visible in the viewing window.
• Place the fitting with pipe in the press jaw and start the pressing process.
• After installing the Henco system, a pressure test must be performed.
