This RIV ball valve, type 5153, also called a ball shut-off valve, is used to quickly and easily open or close a water pipe. This ball valve is typically connected downstream of the water meter and has a non-return valve. The butterfly handle makes the internal ball valve quick and easy to operate. This ball valve has a full bore, meaning there are no restrictions in the valve.
This ball valve has taps for water analysis, both before and after the check valve. The taps are easily opened with a screwdriver because they are positioned at a 30° angle.
