This TECEflex wall plate is suitable for (drinking) water, gas, and central heating systems. The coupling is used to connect a tap with an external thread to a water or gas pipe system with Alupex pipes.

Connecting Alupex pipe

TECEflex alupex pipes are permanently connected to the fittings using axial compression technology. Instead of an O-ring, the plastic of the pipe itself serves as a seal. This creates a hygienic connection because no gaps are created where water can remain. To connect the alupex pipe to the fitting, it must first be expanded, after which it can be slid over the fitting. A compression sleeve holds the pipe and fitting securely in place.
