Material

The TECElogo push-in screw fitting is made of bronze. This eliminates corrosion, provides optimal flow, reduces pressure loss, and guarantees a long service life.

Assembly

Thanks to the push-fit technology, the pipe can be easily inserted into the screw coupling without the use of special tools. If necessary, the TECElogo system can be disassembled and reused, provided no damage is visible. Cutting the pipes to size requires pipe cutters, a handle, and calibration and beveling tools for calibrating and deburring the pipe ends. The bronze fittings can be combined with PPSU fittings.

Installing this TECElogo screw coupling takes just a few steps.

• Cut the tube to size and calibrate and deburr the tube end.
• Insert the tube into the fitting until it is visible in the inspection window.
• The clamp ring holds the tube in place and the 2 o-rings ensure a good seal.
• Check that the tube is properly fitted by pulling it in the opposite direction; it should not come loose.
• To dismantle the pipe, a special key must be used after which the pipe can be removed from the fitting.
