The Unifit coupling is used for irrigation, domestic and garden connections, and drinking water for livestock. Because Unifit couplings do not carry the Kiwa quality mark, they are not suitable for use in drinking water systems. Unifit wall plates are available in 16 and 25 mm sizes.

Properties

A wall plate can be used to connect a faucet to a polyethylene water pipe. Clamp the PE pipe at the bottom, and mount the faucet at the front. This Unifit plastic wall plate has a 16 mm polyethylene connection and a ½ inch internal thread for the faucet.

Assembly

You don't need any special tools to install the polyethylene pipe to the Unifit coupling. Cut the polyethylene hose squarely and insert it into the Unifit coupling up to the butt joint. Then, tighten the union nut firmly by hand. If necessary, tighten the union nut another half turn with suitable pliers or a wrench. The connection is now watertight.
