VDL threaded rod for 3-piece coupling, type A, PVC-U, internal thread x external thread, 1¼" x 2"

This PVC threaded rod, also called a point piece, is used for a three-piece coupling. An advantage of using a threaded rod for a three-piece coupling is that you can quickly and easily disconnect and reconnect it. To disconnect, simply unscrew the union nut. This threaded rod has a 1¼" internal thread diameter.

PVC-U is suitable for operating temperatures from 0°C to 60°C, although it's important to note that the maximum operating pressure depends on the operating temperature. The specified pressure applies at a temperature of 20°C. PVC-U is strong, dimensionally stable, has good chemical resistance, and is maintenance-free.
