Viega Prestabo tube 35 X 1.5 (180) (1103)

This Prestabo pipe, type 1103, is part of the Viega Prestabo central heating pipe system.

The Prestabo press fitting system is suitable for industrial and central heating installations. The system, including the pipe, is not suitable for drinking water installations; this can be recognized by the red marking on the pipe.

This pipe is made of non-alloy steel (E235) and is externally galvanized.

Assembly

Cold bending is possible for Prestabo pipes with diameters of 12, 15, 18, 22, and 28 mm. Please ensure that the pipe ends are at least 50 mm long to allow sufficient space for pressing a fitting. The pipe is connected using a press connection using the Viega tool.

Pressing takes just 3 steps:

• Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent a noisy pipe.
• Mark the insertion depth and slide the pipe into the coupling up to the marking.
• Press the fitting down. The inner ring will squeeze and cut into the pipe, creating a secure connection.

Thanks to the SC-Contur on the fittings, unpressed connections are immediately detected during a press inspection. If the pressing is not performed correctly, water will leak from the coupling without it ejecting from the pipe when pressure is applied.

Viega's Prestabo pipes are supplied with end caps to prevent contamination by dust or other particles during transport or storage.
